About NAFFS

The National Association of Flavors and Food-Ingredient Systems (NAFFS) is a broad-based trade association of manufacturers, processors and suppliers of fruits, flavors, syrups, stabilizers, emulsifiers, colors, sweeteners, cocoa and related food ingredients. Its associate membership is open to all companies that provide products and services to the food industry.

NAFFS’ mission is to provide a forum for the exchange of technology and marketing information; to keep its membership aware of legislative and regulatory developments which impact the trade and commerce of the members; to respond to the needs of the membership; and to take a proactive role that generally promotes, protects, and extends the welfare of the industries represented. NAFFS welcomes companies of all sizes.

All member firms have the opportunity to exercise leadership; to be heard in legislative and regulatory forums; and to be involved personally in the issues that affect their ability to conduct business. To explore emerging technologies in food processing, changing management systems, legislative and regulatory matters, market requirements, and personnel developments, NAFFS sponsors an Annual Convention, a Mid-Year Technical Meeting and a Winter Meeting in New Jersey. NAFFS Professional Staff works on a regular basis with agencies of government that regulate the food industry and the workplace. It is experienced in making correct approaches with regulatory officials. NAFFS has been serving industry since 1917. It is directed by a Board of 7 Officers and 15 Directors drawn from a cross-section of the industry. They are a valuable resource to every member company. They take pride in serving their industry, their Association, and its greatest asset, its members.
